The records of the Geisen Ried we learn something as a decades-long dispute between the municipality and the parish priest of Hattenhofen Geisen Ried, the so-called "case Angerer, and the local school history. The oldest document from 1551 is from the community Sulzschneid, out of which the most historic records preserved. This included a pasture and drive letter is dated 1670.
